At STEINBAUER we don't like to quote 'fuel savings' numbers, we prefer to look at the 'Net Effect' - the overall savings. So what savings are we hearing from our customers? We recently did a call around to check on how #harvest25 was shaping up for many of our customers running machines with the 13.6L engine and time and time again, we kept hearing the same feedback. Across 10 large customers, all running multiple machines (combines and tractors) with the 13.6L engine - on average they were saving 50 gallons per machine, per day. If we take the average off-road diesel fuel price of $3.30 a gallon - that is a saving of $165 a day per machine, per day. The investment of the STEINBAUER module paid for itself in 2 weeks.
