When every dollar counts. Trust STEINBAUER.

Let's be honest, farming at the moment is tough. Input costs are high, machinery costs keep going up and commodity prices are the same now as they were in the 1970's. So what can you do to help improve your bottom line?

STEINBAUER first started testing our modules on the 13.6L John Deere engine back in 2020. It's release was a rocky one, with variances in horsepower and reliability issues from the get go. So, as always we were cautious. We tested on various machines, conditions, and crops throughout the USA, Canada and Australia to find 'the sweet spot'. Skip forward to #harvest2025 in North America and our continued testing and fine adjustments continue to pay dividends for our customers.

One of the highlights of what we do, is getting positive feedback from customers. Especially when times are tough, like now, it brings a huge sense of pride to our team to know that what we are doing benefits our customers operations and helps their bottom line.

At STEINBAUER we don't like to quote 'fuel savings' numbers, we prefer to look at the 'Net Effect' - the overall savings. So what savings are we hearing from our customers? We recently did a call around to check on how #harvest25 was shaping up for many of our customers running machines with the 13.6L engine and time and time again, we kept hearing the same feedback. "I'm saving fuel!" Whilst the increase in horsepower was still a mention, especially with rice and bean harvest customers who were lacking the power to hold rpm and loved how the STEINBAUER module smoothed out their power and they were able to harvest at a constant speed. Fuel savings were the big winner.

So how much fuel were they saving? Across 10 large customers, all running multiple machines (combines and tractors) with the 13.6L engine - on average they were saving 50 gallons per machine, per day. If we take the average off-road diesel fuel price of $3.30 a gallon - that is a saving of $165 a day per machine, per day. The investment of the STEINBAUER module paid for itself in 2 weeks.

STEINBAUER is a plug n play electronic that operates downstream from the ECU, so it does not interfere with any of the emissions or manufacturer settings. It's safe, reliable and backed by over 25 years of engineering expertise. So if you are looking to improve your bottom line, give the STEINBAUER Team a call today (269) 230 0400.
